ALBUM REVIEW: RADIOHEAD AIRBAG/HOW AM I DRIVING?

A seven track mini album aimed at the USA to help promote the band across the pond, this album is ‘OK Computer’ Mark II. Featuring the trademark atmospheric moods that has become integral to Radiohead it features the soothing ‘Airbag’ and 6 other previously unreleased items of material.

Travelling through the pleasing ‘Pearly’, an instrumental Simple Minds like ‘Meeting In The Aisle’, the easy going ‘A Reminder’, strident rampaging ‘Polyethylene (Parts 1 & 2), the orchestral ‘Melatonin’ and the rocking ‘Palo Alto’ (the nearest thing to ‘The Bends’ album), this an album which offers nothing new in terms of changing musical styles or future anthems, but is bound to please the bands massive following and add a further means of attack to the American market in their quest to be the next Pink Floyd.
