The band launched into favorites like “Murders in the Rue Morgue,” “Wrathchild,” and “The Number of the Beast,” instantly connecting with their devoted fans who sang along to every word.
Even ‘Eddie’ made an early appearance during ‘Killers’ and tried to chop the heads off the band members before leaving the stage.
Introduction of the new drummer was duly made and rapturous applause was given to Simon Dawson as their new touring drummer, replacing Nicko McBrain who retired from touring.
Dawson is also Steve Harris’s rhythm section partner in the band British Lion.
