New Album ‘Reason To Believe’ Out May 29 Via Virgin Music Group
NASHVILLE, TN. – (17th April, 2026) – Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Kip Moore has released his pensive, soul-stirring new song ‘Faith In The Wind‘ along with an official video. The track is the latest peek at his forthcoming album Reason To Believe, due out May 29th via Virgin Music Group. Capturing the album’s central tension, ‘Faith in the Wind’ reflects on a life lived freely in a structured world, co-written with producer Andrew DeRoberts and Luke Preston (Kashus Culpepper, Corey Kent, Iam Tongi). The official video was filmed in Sedona and directed by PJ Brown.
Of the song, Moore stated, “When you live unconventionally, sometimes you question it. ‘Faith in the Wind’ is trusting I’m where I’m supposed to be”.
Pre-order/Pre-save Reason To Believe
‘Faith in the Wind’ follows the album’s lead single ‘Levee‘, a guitar-slinging anthem featuring guest vocals by Hillary Lindsey. Billboard hailed is as “a sinewy rock outing that showcases his livewire vocals,” while Music Row called it “swampy, steaming, and rocking, with shades of Creedence and a lot of menacing attitude,” and Whiskey Riff raved “‘Levee’ is certainly a statement…a winner all-around.”
His second full-length in two years, Reason To Believe makes good on Moore’s promise to release more music than ever before after signing his new global partnership with Virgin Music Group. It finds the Nashville-based artist confronting grief, faith and the weight of time, documenting a man standing still long enough to hear himself think. While recording the album, Moore lost his mentor, champion, first producer and songwriter Brett James. He even named the album after a song James loved that Moore wrote years ago alongside longtime collaborator Dan Couch and Scott Stepakoff.
Moore co-produced the entirety of the album with DeRoberts (Stephen Wilson Jr., Tate McRae, Zac Brown Band), marking the first time he worked with the lauded producer. DeRoberts brought a sonic philosophy Moore hadn’t explored as deeply before: space over volume. The process pushed Moore into a place where he let passion and familiarity guide him, as he did in his early career working alongside James. The result is an album that feels career-spanning with upbeat rockers meant for the crowd, vulnerable meditations on hardship meant for quiet and other songs that are meant to be lifelines by giving the listener a sense of comfort.
Moore will take the album on the road this year on the Reason To Believe World Tour, where he’ll headline shows across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, US, and the UK, as well as a return to South Africa, where he has opened up the door to country music, playing for crowds of over 40,000 fans. In the UK, he will be performing at State Fayre festival alongside Alanis Morissette, Jack Savoretti, Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, Sierra Ferrell and more.
