MARTI PELLOW ANNOUNCES NEW PRODUCTION
The Voice in the Room comes to Glasgow’s
Citizens Theatre for one week only
Marti Pellow has announced a brand new production, The Voice in the Room, coming to Glasgow’s
Citizens Theatre for a strictly limited one-week run from 31 May – 5 June 2027.
Described as “the story of an ordinary man who lives an extraordinary life” The Voice in the Room is
an intimate evening of music, conversation and storytelling that invites audiences to spend time with
Marti in a way they’ve never experienced before.
Returning to his home city, Marti will weave together songs, stories and reflections in the unique
surroundings of the Citizens Theatre, creating an evening that is warm, personal and full of surprises.
Speaking about the production, Marti said:
“Over the last 40 years I’ve been lucky enough to share so many moments with audiences, but this feels
different. I’ll sing a lot, I’ll talk a lot and, hopefully, by the end of the evening you’ll walk away feeling like
you know me a little better. That’s what The Voice in the Room is all about.”
