MADS SAYCE – ‘WHY YOU CRY’
NEW SINGLE OUT NOW
Mads Sayce is a solo artist with an eclectic genre of releases, from dance to indie-pop and jazz. A singer, violinist and dancer, she is a passionate producer with two of her singles featuring on BBC Radio Scotland last year, (one of them being the 2nd of her DJ collaborations). Mads incorporates dance and movement into her songs, self choreographing the dance for her music videos. Living in Glasgow and Dundee, she began song-writing at 12 years old and released her first single when she was just 16. She has performed all over Scotland from a young age, representing Scotland nationally on violin. Previous single ‘Livin Though’ enjoyed heavy rotation across the likes of Amazing Radio and was featured on over 30 radio playlists throughout it’s release campaign!
New single ‘Why You Cry’
“Why You Cry talks about those that have “done me wrong”, hence the lyrics “I hope I’m why you cry”. Before I put my “shutter down” and walk away, I secretly hope that instead of being a brief moment to someone they reflect and cry inside. In the end I realise that that is too good to be true as lack of self-awareness means I am never why they cry” – Mads Sayce
