MUSIC NEWS : Lewis Capaldi announces his ‘Big Sexy Pizza’ range

w/c 26th September – No stranger to making dough, Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi brings his spice to the food industry and announces the launch of his very own pizza range Lewis Capaldi’s Big Sexy Pizza’.

The new venture follows the global super-star’s eagerly anticipated return earlier this month, which saw his new single Forget Me’ shoot to the top of the UK single charts.

The product is already available in Tesco and Iceland across the UK, with more supermarkets to stock the product in 2023.

On his leap from music to mozzarella, Capaldi explains I think lockdown spurred a lot of ideas for a lot of people. I saw a lot of people on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter getting really into your banana breads and what have you, and I turned to sourdough. Sourdough was my solace. The cogs started turning and I thought pizza could be my true calling.

‘Lewis Capaldi’s Big Sexy Pizza’ will be available in two mouth watering flavours, ‘The Big Sexy Cheesy One’ and ‘The Big Sexy Meaty One’. Created using a 24 hour sourdough to enhance the flavour of the crust, the base is shaped by unique patented technology that individually spins each dough ball to form a top quality base. It’s then topped with specially selected ingredients and quickly frozen to lock in all those Big Sexy flavours.

Lewis Capaldi’s Big Sexy Pizza’ will be available to purchase in select Tesco and Iceland stores across UK from September 6th. For more information, please visit:

About Lewis Capaldi

It’s safe to say that debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ was a “success”. Selling over 10 million copies worldwide, the album propelled Capaldi from bedroom musician to superstar. Few have seen a debut release quite like it, becoming the biggest selling UK album of 2019 & 2020, spawning two UK number 1 singles and a number 1 smash hit on both sides of the globe in ‘Someone You Loved’, as well as bagging a few BRITs and a GRAMMY nomination along the way.

Things didn’t go too badly on the live circuit either. After selling out headline shows to hundreds of thousands across the continents, Lewis stepped up to headline arena shows, selling out London’s SSE Arena Wembley ahead of his debut album release, making him one of the first artists to ever achieve such a feat. Just this summer, he re-emerged and stepped up yet again to headline his first ever festival dates, on top of two rapturous sold out rescheduled dates at London’s O2 Arena.

It’s a joy to have the young, quick-witted hitmaker back. With his welcome, entertaining return to social media, new music, soon-to-be announced touring plans and that “difficult second album” on the way, Lewis Capaldi is a true Scottish musical giant on the cusp of becoming one of the biggest stars on the planet.
