The UK’s most iconic retro festival series Let’s Rock have announced two more festivals for this summer.
For the very first time, Let’s Rock will be visiting Northampton and Swansea, with for the inaugural Let’s Rock Northampton happening at Delapré Park on Saturday June 15th, while Let’s Rock Wales will take place in Singleton Park, Swansea on Saturday July 20th.

Let’s Rock Northampton will be headlined by ‘80s superstar Billy Ocean, with performances also from Tony Hadley, The Boomtown Rats, Go West, Tom Bailey (Thompson Twins), Heaven 17, Jason Donovan, Altered Images & many, many more.
Let’s Rock Wales will be headlined by reggae legends UB40 feat. Ali Campbell, with performances also from ABC, The Boomtown Rats, Go West, Jason Donovan, Nik Kershaw, The Christians, Jaki Graham, Musical Youth & many, many more.
Billy Ocean broke through in 1976 with the smash ‘Love Really Hurts Without You” and had a string of further hits throughout the late ‘70s and early-mid ‘80s including ‘Red Light Spells Danger’, ‘Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)’, ‘There’ll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry)’ – a US No.1 – and the colossal 1985 UK No.1 ‘When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going’, the theme from the hit film ‘The Jewel Of The Nile’. The same year, Billy became the first British artist to win the Grammy for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. In 2020 he was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List for services to music.
UB40 topped the UK singles chart on three occasions and sold 70 million records as they took their smooth yet rootsy musical blend to all corners of the globe. They topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with reggae covers of ‘Red Red Wine’ and ‘I Got You Babe’ (with Chrissie Hynde), also scoring a UK No.1 with ‘(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You’.
