CONCERT REVIEW : Newton Faulkner – 11th October 2021 SWG3 Glasgow

Newton Faulkner – 11th October 2021 SWG3 Glasgow

As live music returns to the city, there is no better place to be tonight than SWG3 in Glasgow’s close the city’s west end. The warehouse type venue was full and the buzz around the venue and merch stall was electric as their hero was set to return to the Glasgow stage after 18 months.

The stage lights were dim and you could see Newtons vast equipment set up, just waiting for the man to take to the stage. The show is part of Newton’s new tour to support the release of his new album “Interference (Of Light)”.

As the lights dimmed down and silhouette of the man appear from the rear of the stage with a huge smile as he appeared in the stage lights. Greeting the Glasgow audience and explaining to them that is is going to be a night full of fun and also new music from his latest album.

One man on stage with various guitar pedals, guitars and microphones, he creates the most remarkable music. He involves his audience from stat to finish with asking them to clap along and be part of the show.

Tonight, was no different he had them laughing from back to front and singing along to some of his classic and also taking in the new songs from the album. The audience was in full voice, you could see with the look on Newton’s face it was good to be back on the road again with this been the first night of the UK tour.

Catch Newton on the road as you will not be disappointed.
