Today, breakout artist grentperez releases his debut album Backflips in a Restaurant (via Fast Friends and AWAL). In addition, grentperez is surprising fans with a music video for fifth single ‘Need You Around’.

The album follows a successful streak of singles including ‘Fuzzy Feeling’, ‘2DK’, ‘Dandelion’ featuring Ruel, and ‘Movie Scene’, which have been met with praise from press including Billboard, The Face, Rolling Stone among others, while coming off the heels of an already acclaimed body of work by 23 year old Australian breakout artist grentperez.
The singer-songwriter, known for his signature charm of crafting melodic love songs, captures a genre bending evolution of his roots as a bedroom-pop sensation, mixing elements of R&B, indie-folk, pop-punk, symphonic pop, ’70s soft-rock, and so much more into his most boldly original body of work to date. Following the announcement of his Backflips In A Restaurant tour in North America, grentperez has now unveiled the UK & Europe leg, adding eleven new dates. The tour will see him headlining shows in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and his biggest UK show to date at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on September 20th 2025 in London.
