BNL’s lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Ed Robertson comments: “Always a pleasure to get back to the UK and perform for some of our favourite audiences on the planet. The tour buses are insane, the dressing rooms are tiny, but I have a Caffè Nero card that is just about full, so let’s do this!!”
Drummer Tyler Stewart adds: “Our In Flight UK Tour 2024 will feature tasty new songs from the album and of course, a whole slew of BNL hits spanning 35 years. So come on Subjects! The band’s 18th studio album, In Flight seamlessly captures the hallmark playfulness and astute observation that have earned BNL global renown, and artfully juxtaposes those signature elements against a contemplative, philosophical backdrop, converging into a resounding impression of growth and wisdom gained. Stand-out singles include “Lovin’ Life,” “One Night,” and “What Do We Need?”.
Barenaked Ladies recently celebrated two important career milestones; the 35th anniversary of their first ever gig, and the 25th anniversary of their Billboard #1 chart-topping, pop-culture-defining smash hit, “One Week. In their long and storied career, the quartet has sold over 15 million records worldwide and built up an arsenal of hits such as “If I Had $1,000,000,” “Pinch Me”, “The Big Bang Theory Theme,” and of course the aforementioned “One Week”. Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavour, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut Chris Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Barenaked Ladies are:

Ed Robertson (guitar, vocals), Tyler Stewart (drums, vocals), Kevin Hearn (keyboards, guitar and vocals), and Jim Creeggan (bass, vocals)

Barenaked Ladies Live – Press Quotes:

“BNL continue to show that beneath the seemingly goofy veneer they are a band of serious craft and
commitment. Clothed or not, they’re a damn fine live act.”
Louder Than War

“It’s obvious from the very beginning that these guys get along really well together and love playing live
gigs. Their musicality and creative talent is obvious, and they are just fun to watch.’
Renowned for Sound

“The enraptured crowd were singing along with their best known and most-loved tunes to their heart’s
content, led a merry dance through the band’s back catalogue, eventually leaving the venue blissfully
happy to have been, once more, entertained by the after such a long wait.”
All Music Magazine

“Barenaked Ladies are a blur of quips and banter on stage, but make no mistake they can play. Tight
vocal harmonies between guitarist and singer Ed Robertson, guitarist/keyboard player Kevin Hearn,
drummer Tyler Stewart and Jim Creeggan showed the class and sense of melody that bands who have
risen up from the rest possess.”
