OVO ARENA WEMBLEY – FEBRUARY 13TH 2027 – SOLD OUT

Scouting For Girls are celebrating the latest milestone in their remarkable career after selling out London’s OVO Arena Wembley more than five months in advance of their huge 20th anniversary show.

The band will celebrate twenty years together with the two biggest headline shows of their career to date, at Manchester’s AO Arena on February 12th 2027 and a now sold-out homecoming at the OVO Arena Wembley the following night. Scouting For Girls will be joined special guests The Hoosiers at these two shows.

And before those arena shows, Scouting For Girls have announced four special intimate warm-up dates, giving fans in Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow and Cardiff the chance to see the band up close before their biggest weekend yet. The run begins at Belfast’s Limelight on January 28th, followed by The Academy in Dublin on January 29th, Glasgow’s legendary Barrowlands on February 4th and Cardiff’s Tramshed on February 5th.

Demand for the anniversary shows has already been phenomenal, with the OVO Arena Wembley show now completely sold out. Tickets remain available for Manchester’s AO Arena and are available HERE, while the newly announced Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow and Cardiff warm-up shows offer another chance to join the celebrations. Fans can expect wall-to-wall hits, fan favourites and plenty of surprises as Scouting For Girls look back over twenty years together.

Roy Stride says: “Selling out Wembley Arena is completely ridiculous. We grew up just down the road and one of the first gigs we ever played together was at Wembley Youth Club, so to know that Wembley Arena is now completely sold out five months in advance is genuinely hard to get our heads around.
“We wanted to add a few smaller shows before Wembley and Manchester so we could take the anniversary party around the country – and also remind ourselves what it feels like to be able to see the people in the back row. Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow and Cardiff are going to be very special.”

THESE ARE THE GOOD DAYS
THE NEW ALBUM – OUT NOW HERE

The album title ‘These Are The Good Days’ is the truth for the trio, whose enduring popularity continues almost twenty years after their breakthrough. Their recent headline tour saw all 24 shows sell out, while their previous album returned them to the Top 20 for the first time in eight years. Those sentiments fuel the dynamic, defiant, sunshine-filled singalong optimism of the new album.

As vocalist and songwriter Roy Stride says, “What this album is about, what I feel the band is about, what my life is about… It’s all the same: bringing people together through live music and having a good time and singing along. And that’s why live music is so important. That’s what the title song is all about. About being in the present moment but also coming together.”

That sense of unity inspires the focus track ‘Stars Never Fade’. Roy wrote the song in response to the excitement and awe-inspiring atmosphere generated by the great Oasis comeback, and its blend of irresistible melodies with a huge singalong chorus gives it the feel of being Scouting For Girls’ answer to ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.

The singles that previewed the album all captured the big hooks, straight-to-the-point messages and heartfelt fervour that are hallmarks of the band at their best. That standard carries into the new material too, taking in highlights including the arena-sized anthem ‘Get What You Give’, the thumping rocker ‘Waiting For Your Love’, and folk-pop exuberance on ‘Love Gone Bad’.

The atmosphere stays on a rousing high until the finale ‘Alright In The End’, with brass and piano that echoes the likes of Billy Joel and Randy Newman, with a touch of ’80s pop sophistication that recalls Nik Kershaw. So that’s the good days wrapped – but with many more still to come.

Formats include two striking vinyl designs and three CDs themed around each band member. Roy’s adds five unplugged tracks, bassist Greg Churchouse’s adds four new songs from the sessions as well as an alternate vocal version of ‘Counting Down The Days’, while drummer Pete Ellard’s features band commentary for every song.
