Issac Ryan Brown is a young man who is dreaming big. The 20-year-old from Detroit has been releasing music since his early teens, but now he’s radically raising the bar as he aims to become his generation’s answer to the pop/R&B all-timers such as Michael Jackson, Usher and Chris Brown. Already boasting a strong fanbase with 2.1 million followers at TikTok alone, Issac Ryan Brown now gets that ambition underway as he pushes into a new era with the single ‘End of the Season’ via SSK Records. Listen HERE.
‘End of the Season’ captures a sound that spans the generations, the melodic end of his voice feeling like sunshine soul on top of a production that recalls a time when crossover R&B dominated the charts and the airwaves, with its fresh, modern twist – his performance teases a new artist full of charisma poised to become one of the world’s hottest new stars. A chugging guitar riff provides another standout element, echoing Bruno Mars and Nile Rodgers, while his lyrics talk of the relatable experience of moving forward with confidence after a break-up.
Issac Ryan Brown says, “End Of The Season is about knowing when your relationship with something or someone has run its course and it’s time to move on to the next chapter. Like fashion or TV, there’s always an end of the season show. I’m so excited to finally share new music from this new chapter!”
‘End of the Season’ was co-written with Arno Spires, Chris Ballard and hitmaker extraordinaire Wayne Hector whose work with the likes of One Direction, Nicki Minaj and David Guetta has generated more than a staggering 40 #1 hits and 380 million sales. The track was produced by KYYNGS.
The next wave artist Issac Ryan Brown first sang in church, even performing in front of an entire congregation when he was just 3-years-old. His mother encouraged him to go into the sports world, but music was both his first passion and his destiny – something his entire family realised after he missed a routine baseball catch because he was too busy moonwalking on the field while daydreaming of being Michael Jackson.
Further inspired by the likes of Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder, a 6-year-old Issac Ryan Brown made one of the most memorable ‘America’s Got Talent’ auditions ever, his take on The Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back’ winning the hearts of audiences with his smooth singing and fleet-footed dance moves. That opened up unexpected opportunities in the acting world, particularly with a long-running lead role in the Disney TV series ‘Raven’s Home’. His other credits range from ‘Black-ish’ to ‘Family Guy’, but all the while he continued to follow his love of music.
After ‘Raven’s Home’ ended, Issac Ryan Brown took the opportunity to throw himself into music full-time. He spent three years collaborating with Arno Spires and Chris Ballard remotely, working around the eight-hour time difference between home and London before finally having the chance to work together extensively in person. Issac Ryan Brown was spotted and championed by Steven Machat who signed him to his label SSK Records. Machat’s previous credits include breaking big names such as Bobby Brown, Babyface, LA Reid and ELO.
Honing in a sound that also ranges from balladeering into disco-edged energy, they took their time to identify Issac Ryan Brown’s distinct musical style. Issac Ryan Brown believes his purpose in life was to sing and perform and his ambition is to make people happy. It’s all about natural chemistry and hard work which, combined with his talents and existing profile, places him as a major contender to be the next great pop newcomer to make a global breakthrough.
