Hot off the back of rocketing to the top of the UK singles chart with his new single ‘Forget Me’, Scottish megastar Lewis Capaldi has partnered up with Spotify UK, recording and releasing a two-track Spotify Singles EP from Abbey Road Studios in just 24 hours – a world first – out now and available HERE.
Exclusive to Spotify, the EP, that dropped at midnight, features a stripped back version of his recent UK number 1 single ‘Forget Me’, as well as a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s smash hit ‘drivers license’. Lewis performed and recorded the session yesterday at Abbey Road in front of a small, intimate audience. Following the session, Lewis’ biggest fans on Spotify will be given the opportunity to purchase the session on vinyl.
Lewis’ previous Spotify Single was a captivating cover of Billie Eilish’s ‘when the party’s over’.
Last week, Lewis became just the third artist this year to have a single go straight in at Number 1 in its first week, and saw him equal Adele in accomplishing a hat-trick of UK Number 1 singles.
