Behind the Lyrics
“‘Crazy’ first took shape when Adam had recorded some rough chords on his phone and sent me them over, within a couple hours I had structured a full song with just two 15 second voice notes. From there the song just took off.
The track is about how after a few months of seeing someone, the confusion of where you stand with your other half can set in. But instead of reassurance and comfort you’re hit with instability and confusion. Your other half feels although they have the upper hand in the relationship, and you will just be at their beck and call. The tracks about the realisation of this and taking the steps to cut it off and regain your control.”
