Clients Of Suddenness
Scottish songwriter Louise Connell releases new album Clients Of Suddenness with Last Night From Glasgow. The ten-track album paints a lush harmonic landscape. The stunning album artwork is by renowned visual artist James Marsh, who is known for his Talk Talk album covers. The album features world-class musicians including Mark Brzezicki (Pete Townshend, Big Country, Procol Harum) and Lewis Gordon (Deacon Blue, Codeine Velvet Club) plus a guest appearance from Grahame Skinner (Hipsway, The Cowboy Mouth). The album is released on duck egg blue vinyl, apricot orange vinyl, CD and digital formats in May 2025.

Background
Louise Connell is a singer-songwriter from Airdrie. She is known for her thoughtful, illustrative lyrics accompanied by gorgeous, haunting melodies, evident in her two previous critically acclaimed albums. Originally performing under the alias of Reverieme, Louise has continued to hone her craft since her debut Straw Woman in 2016. Following the release of her second album Squall Echo Rale in 2019 Louise joined Scottish label Last Night From Glasgow. Together they have released a selection of singles and EPs, most recently EP Minor Expectations in 2023. Louise’s work has been featured across press including Clash Magazine, Record Collector, The Scotsman, Glasgow Times and more. Her songs have been played across BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, BBC 6Music, BBC Scotland, Virgin Radio and BBC Introducing.
