Leo Sayer is very pleased to announce ‘Leothology: The Studio Albums 1973-Now,’ a comprehensive, 220-track, career-spanning box-set showcasing his recorded studio output (and more) spread across a mighty 18 discs, which will be released via Edsel Records/Demon Music on 14th August 2026.
In an incredible, storied career spanning more than five decades, singer, songwriter, performer, artist, designer, photographer and soon to be author Leo Sayer has sold more than 80 billion records worldwide, with his music streamed almost one billion times.
Spending more than 400 weeks on the UK Singles & Albums Charts, the British music legend has enjoyed 19 UK Top 40 chart hits, including a run of seven consecutive UK Top 10 singles, from his 1973 debut ‘The Show Must Go On’ through to 1977’s ‘How Much Love,’ a run that included his transatlantic No.1 smash ‘When I Need You.’
This extensive new 18CD anthology, personally curated by Leo, collects his entire catalogue of recorded material (and more) for the first time, including all 16 original UK studio albums in mini-vinyl replica wallets, housed in a full-colour hard-shell outer box; ‘Silverbird’ (1973), ‘Just A Boy’ (1974), ‘Another Year’ (1975), ‘Endless Flight’ (1976), ‘Thunder In My Heart’ (1977), ‘Leo Sayer’ (1978), ‘Here’ (1979), ‘Living In A Fantasy’ (1980), ‘World Radio’ (1982), ‘Have You Ever Been In Love’ (1983), ‘Cool Touch’ (1990), ‘Voice In My Head’ (2004), ‘Restless Years’ (2015), ‘Selfie’ (2019), ‘Northern Songs’ (2022) and ‘1992’ (2024).
“I released a very limited-edition box-set a few years ago called ‘Just A Box,’” says Leo. “But that sold out really quickly and didn’t include the four studio albums I’d recorded since moving to Australia. So, when Demon Music approached me recently with the idea of putting together this comprehensive ‘Leothology’ box-set, which includes everything I’ve recorded so far, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to complete the picture.”
Also included as part of ‘Leothology’ are two previously unreleased albums; ‘Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow – Live,’ a 2008 concert recorded in Melbourne, along with ‘Return To Paradise,’ a brand new personally-curated 14-track compilation of previously unreleased tracks unearthed from Leo’s vaults.
Explaining the concept of the new ‘Return To Paradise’ bonus CD, Leo says; “I’m constantly finding more tracks from the past that are ‘worthy’ of releasing. Most of the tracks on this new disc come from times when I was not signed to a label, but I was constantly making new music – and I think they still sound pretty good.”

“Of all the discs in this new box-set, I’m actually most happy with the release of ‘Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow – Live,’” continues Leo. “I originally recorded these songs as an Australian-only studio album, but it’s the live version recorded in Melbourne with a 25-piece orchestra included as part of ‘Leothology.’ It was so much fun taking classic songs from my previous albums and making new interpretations of them, as well as covering some of my favourite songs by other artists, in the concert. This is the first time I’ve released a live recording of my shows and I’m very proud to include this special one-off performance here.”
A further important part of the 18CD box-set’s package is the lavish 28-page booklet which boasts 3000+ word liner notes written by Leo himself, featuring track-by- track annotation for the ‘Return To Paradise’ rarities disc, and more.
With his first ever autobiography, ‘Just A Boy,’ currently going through its final editing stages (for early 2027 worldwide publication), Leo Sayer has also just announced a final, full UK live tour for autumn 2026, with tickets for all ‘Can’t Stop Loving You UK Tour’ dates available here;

As Leo remarks; “I love performing for my fans and look forward to doing so for many more years, but this will be the last time I play so many dates across the country. I am not retiring, just slowing the number of live shows down.”
