Newly Arranged Compilation May 2024
Last Night From Glasgow and China Crisis announce the release of China Greatness, a collection of greatest hits, favourite tracks and remixes, now freshly arranged in a cinematic style. The selected songs have been lovingly arranged by Jack Hymers and recorded and mixed by three-time Grammy Award winning engineer Mark Phythian (Feeder, Echo & The Bunnymen, Coldplay).
Spread over two discs the album includes some of the most iconic hits from Gary and Eddie’s extensive career; including Wishful Thinking, Arizona Sky, Christian, King In A Catholic Style, Black Man Ray, It’s Never Too Late and many more. The album will be released on two shades of vinyl and expanded deluxe CD on 31st May 2024. A limited edition yellow/red split vinyl with signed print has already quickly sold out. This release follows the successful vinyl reissue of Difficult Shapes and Passive Rhythms, released by Last Night From Glasgow in 2023. The label has also announced an expanded vinyl reissue of Working with Fire and Steel, set for release in June 2024.
It’s Never Too Late is released as a digital single this Friday 23rd February. The band have also announced an extensive tour across the parts of UK, Canada and The Netherlands. Further dates across Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Spain to be revealed.
