PEPSI MAX PRESENTS TRNSMT CONFIRMS THE RETURN OF THE HANGOUT
- The ultimate over-18s festival space provides live music, comedy, Bongo’s Bingo and more
- The Hangout is known for secret sets, with Amy Macdonald and Travis performing previously
Pepsi MAX presents TRNSMT 2026 welcomes back the home of secret gigs that saw fans treated to surprise performances from the likes of Travis and Amy Macdonald, as the Hangout returns to the festival.
The festival’s over-18s space has been a favourite since its debut in 2024, delivering unforgettable moments, and this year there is set to be another eclectic mix of performances, including immersive games, live comedy and some of the weekend’s most epic parties.

The Hangout includes epic Bongo’s Bingo sessions and Drag-A-Oke with Miss Lola Fierce. Expect guaranteed laughs from the world-renowned The Stand Comedy Club, featuring Karen Dunbar, comedy rapper MC Hammersmith, Scottish comedy trio Weegie Hink Ae That? and Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award winner Rosco McClelland, all hosted by Billy Kirkwood and Kate Hammer. There will also be nonstop party tunes from DJ Rossi, Rumour House and Hana Jane, completing another packed Hangout lineup.
Alongside the parties and games, The Hangout is also known for being the home of secret sets. In its debut year, Scottish rock legends Travis had the unique space jumping and last year Amy Macdonald stunned lucky fans with a special performance.
Geoff Ellis, Festival Director of TRNSMT said: “The Hangout has been a fan favourite since its introduction in 2024 and it’s great to be bringing it back with a huge variety of entertainment across all three days – from Bongo’s Bingo, Drag-A-Oke, comedy and brilliant live music with some stripped back sets and great DJs.
“Travis and Amy Macdonald have delivered some of my top moments of the festival when they played secret sets at The Hangout – who knows what might lie in store this year?”
