The No.1 album moisturizer out now

“moisturizer is a blast” The Guardian 4*

“moisturizer is an emotionally flexible record, one that pinballs between rage and romance, lust and vulnerability, a suite of songs where the reality of love is as terrifying as it is blissful” Mojo Album of the Month 4*

“moisturizer is a bold, confident blast fuelled by the security and invincibility of a deep love” Uncut Album of the Month 8/10

“Now expanded to a five-piece, with a richer, gnarlier sound to match, they’ve sidestepped the common fate of oddballs who crash the mainstream: rather than smoothing their edges, they’ve leaned into what made them strange” Crack

“{They] crafted one of the year’s most anticipated indie-rock albums” Billboard

“Marvellous” The Independent 5*

“All the playful swagger and frenetic energy fans have long loved about the band” NPR Music

“On moisturizer, their second consecutive No.1 album, they get weirder, wilder and all loved up” Wonderland

“moisturizer is a victory lap and a bold step forward all at once. It’s the sound of a band revelling in their own weirdness, poking fun, and somehow still writing some of the catchiest songs of the year” Dork 5*

“Wet Leg have stuck to their guns: the silliness, the subversion, the singalong tunes are all here” The Times 4*

“Wet Leg’s return is a knockout” NME 4*

“A perfectly formed classic” The Arts Desk 5*

“moisturizer is a wonderfully crafted piece of work that cements Wet Leg’s staying power” DIY 4*

“Is there a cooler band on the planet right now than Wet Leg?” NPR Music

“Wet Leg are back with a vengeance” Rolling Stone

“Thrillingly explosive” The Telegraph

“Rhian Teasdale glacially gliding into becoming one of the most imposing frontpeople of her age” Far Out

With the release of moisturizer, Wet Leg’s second consecutive No.1 album, just a few months in the rearview mirror (of a VW Golf convertible say), the band have unveiled the video for “mangetout”.

With its withering chorus of “Get lost forever” that feels like the Nicole Kidman divorce photo in song form, it has become a moment of collective release at the band’s live shows this year as fans fervently sing and shout-a-long to “Get out the way / You’re in our way / You bottom feeder!” Proving to be an album favourite globally, “mangetout” is currently climbing US ALT and AAA Radio Charts (reaching Top 5 AAA) and is on the A-list at BBC Radio 1.

Once again, the band take their seat in the director’s chairs for the video of “mangetout”. In it, Rhian Teasdale – only recognisable from her silver shorts – dances across corn fields and beaches swamped by a huge wig creating a hypnotic and unsettling atmosphere before emerging from the back of a truck, covered in blood and unleashing a demonic leer.
