FELIX SAUNDERS – ‘SINKING FAST’
Felix Saunders is a singer songwriter that hails from the Western Isles. He plays the kind of music that is usually heard in smoky back rooms as the sun comes up. Where people spill their most vulnerable secrets
and try to wash them away with each drink they take. He also fronts dirty blues rock band The Howling Lords.
Sinking Fast is the second single taken from his debut solo EP I Guess This Is Progress. Lead single King Of Nothing received great reviews and substantial media coverage, notably a live session on BBC Radio’s Rapal Show, airplay on BBC Radio Scotland, and he was also included in a Glasgow Herald feature on up and coming artists from Stornoway. Prior to the EP release, his debut solo single, This Old Town gained national radio play including BBC Rapal and received over 80,000 streams on Spotify.

I Guess This Is Progress was recorded at Black Bay Studios in the Outer Hebrides and was produced by Pete Fletcher, who also played guitars and keys along with Mother Night who provided backing vocals.
