Rising UK star Twinnie today releases her captivating new track, ‘Chasing’, taken from her forthcoming debut album, ‘Hollywood Gypsy’, out on 17thApril on BMG. Twinnie has again collaborated with Halo Jones (Kylie Minogue, Seasick Steve), who she previously worked with on ‘Cupid’, to release a stunning lyric video for the track. She has also rescheduled her UK shows and will embark on her biggest headline tour to date which includes a must-see show at London’s Omeara on 24thNovember.
Recorded in Nashville, produced by Jamie Kenney (Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley) and co-written with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Jordan Reynolds, ‘Chasing’ is an anthemic track about the problematic thrill of chasing love. On the track Twinnie said, “’Chasing’ is all about recognising the fact that I had an unhealthy relationship with love. I was attracted to the same type of guy: the James Dean, rock and roll, bad boy and non committal type. But I think in hindsight the chase is what made the whole thing exciting. After all everybody wants what they can’t have!”

‘Hollywood Gypsy’ is full of catchy, yet emotive tunes brimming with a charming lyrical honesty that draws you into Twinnie’s world. Speaking of the album Twinnie said: “The title of the album pretty much sums me up. I am a traveler by nature and by heritage, so I am quite free. ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ is about me, my life.”
