A joint statement by the band reads:
“After discussions with our management, venues and booking agents we have taken the decision to postpone our ‘A Month of Sundays’ acoustic tour due to the developing Coronavirus situation. We were so excited to get out and play these unique shows for you all but the safety and well-being of our fans and everyone involved with putting on these shows has to come first. In better news – we are happy to report that we have managed to rearrange the shows for later this year. All tickets remain valid for the new shows. Stay safe kids x”
The ‘A Month Of Sunday’s Tour’, will see The Twang venturing out across the country to perform special acoustic shows on some lazy Sundays; playing all the fan favourites in an intimate and acoustic setting.
Releasing their acclaimed comeback album last year ‘If Confronted Just Go Mad!’, the Brummie band have also just released a new EP: ‘Amsterdam’. The EP features 3 brand new songs “Amsterdam”, “Life On A What If”, “People Stop”, plus a live version of “Dream” recorded for This Feeling TV last year. Available digitally now, the EP is also available on a limited run of 10” vinyl that you can pre order using the link here: https://thetwang.tmstor.es/
Last Summer, as well as their own headline shows and festivals, the band were also invited to play alongside Shed Seven, Doves, Jonny Marr, The Coral and the Kaiser Chiefs to an adoring crowd of ‘bouncy’ fans.
Looking forward to performing live again soon, the house of Twang will be open for service from this Autumn. Come and rejoice!
