On Friday (28/02/2020) Edinburgh’s Secret Public will release their second single “A Common Trend”. With the big choruses and guitar led hooks which made debut single “Breakthrough” a success, the band hope the new song will set them up for a big 2020.
Secret Public are a rock band formed in Edinburgh in late 2018. Their music is exciting, intelligent, and driven by inventive guitar riffs and genuine vocal talent. Debut single Breakthrough was released in June 2019 to hugely positive responses, with one reviewer calling it “a roller-coaster ride of cool hooks & riffs”. They draw on a number of influences from US grunge to UK indie, punk, and alternative.
Following the release of the new single, Secret Public will play a couple of hometown gigs at The Banshee Labyrinth on 7th March and supporting The Bright Skies at The Hive on the 21st March.
