Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have confirmed a live performance at this year’s 50th anniversary Glastonbury Festival. This will be Noel’s first ever performance there as a solo artist.
Noel Gallagher has remained one of the UK’s most loved and successful songwriters for over a quarter of a century. A hat trick of No.1 solo albums in ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’, ‘Chasing Yesterday’ and ‘Who Built The Moon?’ mark a record-breaking 10 consecutive chart-topping No.1 studio albums in the UK – no other artist has achieved such a feat.
Fans can expect a dynamic live set showcasing Noel’s prolific career, both with Oasis and as a solo artist, performing with an extended 11-piece band. Relentless world touring, landmark open-air shows and festival headline shows have seen Noel’s shows described as “euphoric” by the Evening Standard, “profound, beautiful and liberating” by Q Magazine and “expansive and powerful” (The Guardian).
This special Glastonbury performance will arrive amidst a run of UK live dates beginning with two homecoming shows at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on March 24th and 25th, and London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concerts.
