HUNTER & THE BEAR – Scottish Alt-Rockers return with live dates this March

British alt-rockers – HUNTER & THE BEAR – will be hitting the road this Spring, with SOLD OUT DATES in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Their first UK-wide tour since May 2019, the quartet will be taking their muscular live show to venues across the UK; from an opening night in Perth (24th March), to a showstopper in Exeter (3rd April), via Manchester, London, Birmingham and more. The run includes a two-night residency at Glasgow’s legendary King Tuts to meet rabid demand from their Scottish fanbase.

Working fervently in the studio on new material these last few months, the band are now itching to get out and perform it live. Speaking about the upcoming tour and what we can expect, frontman Will Irvine says:

“This is by miles the most we’ve looked forward to playing shows. We’ve been hidden away working on this new material for a while and we’re buzzing to see how the crowds take to it. It feels like a huge jump forward for us in terms of songwriting so all that’s left to do now is go out there and get sweaty playing these new bangers. We’ll have our spanking new single ‘Digital Light’ out just before the tour and believe me when I say, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.”

Hunter & The Bear will play the following shows this Spring:

MAR 25 Glasgow King Tuts – SOLD OUT

With their debut release in 2017, Hunter & The Bear scored a no. 7 chart position in the iTunes Rock Chart. Since then, the boys have racked up numerous sold out UK shows under their collective belt including gigs at the Scala in London, Gorilla in Manchester and The Garage in Glasgow; as well as playing slots at major festivals such as Reading & Leeds, TRNSMT and The Great Escape.

Taking the first half of 2019 to write and record new material with Grammy nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Twin Atlantic, Funeral For A Friend) they are now busy preparing for a highly anticipated second release.

There is a feeling of inevitability surrounding Hunter & The Bear’s rise to the top.  With a palpable sense of impatience from anybody who’s heard of them when it comes to the release of new music. It would be an understatement to say that these boys have lofty ambitions. However, with the drive and energy they’ve shown so far, as their new album inches closer you can’t help feeling that the sky is surely the limit.

Expect to wrap your ears around new material very soon, with the strident new single ‘Digital Light’ our first glimpse into the exciting new chapter that lies ahead. Produced by studio maestro Romesh Dodangoda, the track will impact on 20th March 2020.
