CHILDCARE announce UK ‘The Fare Well Tour’ which kicks off this Spring in Manchester. This follows their highly successful ‘The Sabi’ tour last year. In support of their acclaimed debut album ‘Wabi Sabi’, this tour will continue to run alongside CHILDCARE’s Get Well Soon project; a multi-faceted wellness mission to make us all that little bit better through Personal Glory™ retreats, agony activist discussions and ‘woah-man’ workshops.
As part of ‘The Fare Well’ tour fans can expect to go on a self-healing quest of discovery, while listening to the band’s usual collection of left-field softcore pysch performances.
CHILDCARE were formed by Ed Cares, formerly one of West London’s most in-demand male nannies. Ed enlisted local musicians Emma Topolski (bass/vocals), Rich Le Gate (guitar) and David Dyson (drums) to complete the group and they performed their first shows together at Reading and Leeds festival in 2016. Their skewed, off-center, softcore psych has gained them eager fans across the continent, extensive BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music support including 28 Radio 1 spins, the Radio 1 Introducing Track of the Week ‘Sugarcane’ and wide-spread online coverage from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland, Clash, DIY and Indie shuffle.
