Glasgow four-piece 100 Fables have announced a November 2019 tour which takes them around the UK, including a performance at the TED Talks in Clackmananshire and support slots with Saints Among Us and The Elephant Trees. The band will also release a remixed version of their latest single ‘History’ with a ‘tropical pop’ vibe on 1st November!
Since the tracks original release in July it has been played on dozens of stations including Amazing Radio and Heat FM (New York) and was BBC Scotland’s ‘Single of The Week’, where they also performed a session on The Janice Forsyth Show. Live they literally tore the roof off at Lindisfarne Festival (the tent had to be closed for 3 hours after they played to fix the ceiling!) and played blinding shows at Live @ Troon and sold out their show at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Discovery Music said of it “100 Fables are one of the best live bands about and this new single will only add to that.”
The repetitive ramalama of Blink 182 and The Ramones blends with the glorious synth pop of Blondie at the heart of 100 Fables’ music, but in the mix there’s the experimentation of Talking Heads, the theatricality of Arcade Fire and the festival-ready way with an anthemic chorus like The Killers and Panic At The Disco.
