Set for release on 17 April
PROJECT REVISE, a pop punk trio from Worcestershire, have announced the release of their second EP ‘Songs From The Shed’ on 17th April and unveiled new track ‘Throw It Away’.
The band’s latest EP was produced by Dave Draper (Fort Hope, Colin Doran (Hundred Reasons), Eat Defeat, The Professionals, and Terrorvision.). Chris Tamburro (guitar / vocals) says of the 5-track collection, “We’ve written a lot of music together so far – but ‘Songs From The Shed’ massively represents everything we’ve been doing, as well as the direction we are heading with our sound.” He adds, “This EP also shows us doing our best to never grow up!”
New track ‘Throw It Away’ is a “riff-driven, nostalgic blast of pop punk with skate punk harmonies! It’s one of our heaviest, most exhilarating songs we’ve written so far”, says Chris. The track is accompanied by a light-hearted music video that shows the trio dressed as pensioners, keeping old school pop punk alive.
Formed in 2017, the band have built a solid fanbase from traveling up and down the country supporting the likes of Between You & Me, Story Untold, The Bottom Line, and Weatherstate, and have had their music played on BBC Introducing and various official Spotify playlists. The band cite bands of the late 90’s/early 00’s as their major influences, such as Blink 182, Sum 41, and Millencolin.
